In this hands-on follow-up to our Ableton Crash Course, we’ll explore how to capture and creatively use audio in your productions. You’ll learn how to connect and configure an audio interface, record with both dynamic and condenser microphones, and bring in sounds from external gear like synths or drum machines. Then we’ll dive into Ableton’s Simpler device to manipulate and transform your recordings into playable instruments and textures.

Great for producers who are newer to recording and mixing, or anyone looking to expand their workflow beyond loops and MIDI. No prior experience with audio recording required—just bring your curiosity.
